Move over. Ford! Take a break, Audi! Primary 4 are in the car making business now! As part of our topic exploring transport, Primary 4 created 3D wooden cars. We started by planning our cars on paper then we worked in groups to build our cars. We painted our cars to finish them.
We needed to use a lot of different skills in order to building a model with moving parts.
The finished cars all looked great! We raced the cars too. Caity and Ruben got to the final of the P4 competition. Caity's car managed to tay in the lead and win it! Well done Caity.

P4 runner up. Well done, Ruben! |

P4 race winner! Well done, Caity! |
Caity and Ruben were also in the top three for the distance race, along with Emily. Emily wa in third place but the wind pushed her into first! We had decided the wind was allowed to move cars.

The wind move Emily's car into first place! |
We raced again, this time for accuracy! Linking with maths, pupils tried to push their cards into shapes. They were worth 10x the number of corners they had (so triangles were worth 30, sqaures 40 and pentagons 50). Leigha managed to get lots of points here but Menna was the only one to get 50 points!
