The Challenger Bus and John Harper

Last Monday we had a great visit to the Challenger Bus.  We sang some songs and heard a story about a man called John Harper who journeyed on the titanic and saved another man’s life by giving him his lifejacket after the ship sank.  It was very interesting hearing about his life and hearing all about the Titanic.  Thank you to the Challenger Bus for entertaining us so well!

New Year, New Classmates

New year, new classmates!  We’ve had a great first day back at school in P5.  We got to know the way around our new classroom and also got to meet two new classmates who arrived over the summer!  We were delighted to find Midnight and Neon in our classroom this morning.  We had a vote to name them and have been learning  a little bit about how to look after them.  Fortunately their tank looks quite clean so we won’t have to tackle that for a peedie while yet!
